VooDoo Village - Origins
Local horror spot, VooDoo village is said to be haunted. It is a small commune at the end of Mary Angela road, where the inhabitants are said to practice Voodoo, as well as other dark arts. It is comprised of a few small houses and a church, that has a long fence wrapped around it, with school buses pushed up against the fence. A routine visit to the village includes a short drive through an open gate, a dead end, and a U-turn to find the gate is closed, where a black woman with white eyes and a Raspy voice asks you if you have taken any pictures, then walks away, with the gate swinging open and letting you go.
Many have claimed to see bodies, some still moving, in the trees of the village, and heads resting on fence posts, of those unlucky or stupid enough to venture in by foot.
Police are scared to go there, civilians are scared to set foot anywhere near there. The first sightings of an outbreak were said to be seen in the village where leader, Wash Harris, now 132 years old, lead a group in reanimating a human body, which then attacked two of the group and fled into the streets of Downtown Memphis. Since then dismembered bodies have been found in various places all over memphis, mostly homeless and vagrants.
Many have gone to the police as well claiming to have seen stranger than usual activity coming from the village.
Villagers know what they have released in the world, and are now going to do their best to protect themselves from the impending terror wreaking havoc on the streets of downtown Memphis.
